Ten days later they dropped an official root-cause analysis showing a DynamoDB DNS glitch cascaded into EC2 errors and Network Load Balancer failures (chapters at 0:00 summary, 5:30 Dynamo’s DNS loss, 13:41 EC2 issues, 16:16 NLB errors).
